2016 Graduation Message of Lourdes D. Servito Elementary

Warmest congratulations to our graduates of School Year 2015-2016!

Graduation signifies an achievement to reckon with as one will be treading a higher level of journey in the educational landscape. It is an event worth sharing and celebrating with your parents, family members, teachers, administrators and other stakeholders who have been part of your success. Most of all, this is the moment to recognize all your efforts and hard work as you burned your midnight candles to acquire added knowledge, skills and competencies and to develop further your attitudes and values to overcome the challenges of the times and to look forward to a brighter future.

Indeed, there is a bright future ahead as the Department of Education embarked on its major educational reform, the K to 12 Enhanced Basic Education Program, which aims to produce Filipino graduates who are locally and globally competitive. Those entering the Junior High and Senior High School as K to 12 comes to full implementation in the next few months will form part of history as among the new breed of global Filipinos equipped with 21st century skills- highly skilled, competitive, innovative, transformative and prepared for the real world.

This year’s theme, “Kabataan mula sa K to 12, Tagapagdala ng Kaunlaran sa Bansang Pilipinas’’ focuses on the role of the youth of this millennium as change catalysts and innovators who could make a difference in this fast-paced modern technology world.

In this age of automation, there is much more need to continue learning new and varied skills to keep pace with the fast technology. Your graduation therefore is also a new beginning as you face a more challenging phase as a lifetime learner.

Be equipped, well-braced as you follow your dreams and contribute to building the Filipino nation!

Godspeed!
