2018 Graduation Message of RD Diosdado San Antonio

As we culminate another school-year, let me convey my sincerest congratulations to Batch 2018 for successfully acquiring essential competencies required to become passionate lovers of our country and effective agents of social transformation.

In this era characterized as VUCA-Votile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous, it is more imperative for the youngsters to think in critical and creative ways. The K to 12 basic education reform stresses this need to develop strategic thinkers among our youngsters who are ready to face life’s chadenges.

Our beloved DepEd Secretary Leonor “Liling” Magtolis Briones captures this point by making a call for accessible, relevant, quality and liberating education. It is my personal hope that our graduates this year are indeed ready to demonstrate how basic education liberates people from ignorance and poverty. Patunayan nating lahat na totoo, mangyayari ang “Mag-aaral ng K to 12: Handa sa Hamon ng Buhay” kung tayo ay natuto ng maayos sa mga silid aralan.

I also wish to salute our parents who are always ready to give up personal comfort so that their children can have the resources needed to learn. Furthermore, I commend our school officials and teachers who implement our push for Transparent, Ethical and Accountable brand of public service so that an environment conducive to optimum learning can exist in schools. Lastly, I wish to thank the local government officials and other non-government partners who offer perennial support to our schooCs and learners that significantlu lighten the burden of DepEd in delivering basic education services.

May the dreams of Batch 2018 come true. May their paths be blessed with more success.

Mabuhay!
