2019 New Chairperson of DepEd Provident Fund

DESIGNATION OF UNDERSECRETARY ANNALYN M. SEVILLA AS CHAIRPERSON OF THE NATIONAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION PROVIDENT FUND

In the exigency of service and pursuant to Section 3 of Administrative Order No. 279, s. 1992 entitled Prescribing Rules and Regulations for the Establishment and Administration of a Provident Fund of Agencies Covered by Section 41 of the General Provisions of Republic Act No. 7180, and DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 19, s. 2019 entitled Assignments of Undersecretaries and Assistant Secretaries of the Department of Education, Undersecretary Annalyn M. Sevilla is designated as the new Chairperson of the National Board of Trustees (NBT) of the Department of Education (DepEd) Provident Fund vice Usec. Victoria L. Medrana Catibog.

Undersecretary Sevilla shall perform her functions and responsibilities as stipulated under DepEd Order No. 12, s. 2004 entitled Revised Implementing Guidelines for DepEd Provident Fund.

The other members of the NBT identified in DM Nos. 131, s. 2011; 26, s. 2017 and 46, s. 2018 shall continue to exercise their functions as members of the Board until such time that the new Board members are designated.

Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
