The 2nd Metro Manila Shake Drill will be held on June 22, 2016, 9:00 a.m. This year’s shake drill is a continuation of the last year’s drill with more and realistic scenarios to be undertaken. This activity intends to promote a culture of preparedness/awareness in the event of a 7.2 magnitude earthquake due to the movement of the West Valley Fault. A simultaneous drill will be held all over Metro Manila.

In compliance with the DepEd memorandum, all Public and Private Elementary and Secondary Schools and Government Offices are encouraged to participate in this very important activity.

School heads should plan out this activity to teachers, students, GPTCA and Barangay Community in order to have a smooth flow during Metro Manila Shake Drill.
