PARTICIPANTS FOR THE 74TH ARAW NG KAGITINGAN AND PHILIPPINE VETERANS WEEK

The country is celebrating the 74th Araw ng Kagitingan on April 9, 2016 and the Philippine Veterans Week on April 5 to 11, 2016 with the theme: “Isabuhay ang Kagitingan, Isulong ang Kapayapaan, Kamtin ang Mithing Kaunlaran”. The commemoration aims to promote, preserve, and memorialize the principles, ideals, and heroic deeds of war veterans as means to enhance patriotism and love of country, especially among the youth.

The participation of the above mentioned DepEd Divisions in NCR, Region IV-A, and Region III is a vital factor in the success of the different major activities for these two occasions. In view of this, your usual support is hereby requested for the activities listed in the attached document.

Please send the names, schools, contact numbers of the students to be included in the program on or before March 14, 2016 (Monday) through email address spapo2012@gmail.com.

Travel and incidental expenses of the participants during the activities listed shall be charged to local funds, regional/division/school PTCA, school board funds (SBF), and other sources and grants, subject to availability and the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
