VALIDATING AND UPDATING THE ELEMENTARY PERSONNEL DATA OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SUBSIDIZED TEACHERS/ASATIDZ HANDLING ARABIC LANGUAGE AND ISLAMIC VALUES EDUCATION CLASSES FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2019-2020

The Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Learning Delivery-Student Inclusion Division (BLD-SID), directs the Regional and Division ALIVE Coordinators, and Planning Officers to validate and update the Elementary Personnel Data of DepEd Subsidized Contract of Service (COS) Teachers/Asatidz Handling Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) Classes for School Year 2019-2020 in the Enhanced Basic Education Information Sytem (E-BEIS) on or before February 15, 2019. This is in line with Joint Resolution No. 03 dated December 28, 2018 signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte extending the validity and period of availability of the Fiscal Year 2018 appropriations for Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses and Capital Outlays, and consistent with Memorandum OUFBM-2019-002 dated January 3, 2019 authorizing the utilization and obligation of all remaining FY 2018 MOOE and CO Funds in Calendar 2019.

The utilization of the Madrasah Education Program (MEP) Funds through DepEd Order No. 58, s. 2016 entitled Implementing Guidelines on the Utilization of Fund for Madrasah Education Program and as such, the 2019 funds under the MEP for Honorarium, Instructional Materials and Program Support Funds (PSF) shall only be downloaded to the regional offices upon validating and updating the said data in the BEIS.

As part of the process in ensuring accurate data, the regional and schools division offices are required to submit the hard copies of the following to the SID-BLD, DepEd Central Office on or before the end of February 2019:

a. Updated and validated data of COS Teachers/Asatidz subsidized by DepEd, and

b. Payroll of COS ALIVE Teachers/Asatidz subsidized by DepEd from January to December 2018.
