The Skymobile Digital Production announces its Astronomy and Environmental Awareness Program for School Year 2016-2017 with the following activities with corresponding objectives:
|3D Movies||To enable the participating Filipino learners to experience the most advanced mobile 3D movie with the use of 3D eyeglasses|
|3D Photos and Artifacts Exhibits||To open up the learners minds and prepare them to take in more knowledge|
|Manipulative Exhibits||To enable the learners for a self-discovery and actual experience of the basic concepts of Science renders enlightenment and easy understaning of the classroom lessons|
|Planetarium||To enable the learners to experience a simulation of the skies fom anywhere on Earth and art at any point in time that introduces the concepts of Einstein’s Law of Relativity and Time Travel|
|Solar Viewing and Stargazing||To enable the viewers to uncover the Universe which is vast and ever changing|
|Lecture and Film Showing on Environmental Awareness||To share with the viewers the simple and p ractical Do ’s and Don’ts in taking care of Mother Nature which gives them a sense of belongingness and responsibility for the whole human race.|
The target viewers/participants are learners and teachers from both public and private elementary and secondary schools nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith. This is also subject to the no-collection policy as stated in Section 3 of Republic Act No. 5546, An Act Prohibiting the Sale of Tickets and/or the Collection of Contributions for Whatever Project or Purpose from Students and Teachers of Public and Private Schools, Colleges and Universities (Ganzon Law).
