Division Office Personnel Banned from Playing Mobile Games

Division Office Personnel of DepEd Palawan who is caught playing an offline and online mobile game at work may end up getting suspended, or even fired.

Maria Luisa Servando, Schools Division Superintendent, issued Unnumbered Division Memorandum dated March 6, 2019, banning playing mobile games during office hours.

A violation of the said order is considered an administrative offense.

Under the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) rules and regulations, a government employee committing an administrative offense will face a reprimand or warning for the first offense, suspension for the second and dismissal for the third offense.
