Official List of Qualifiers for the 2019 DOST-SEI S&T Undergraduate Scholarships

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), through the Science Education Institute (SEI), announces the names of the qualifiers for the 2019 S&T Undergraduate Scholarships. Each qualifier shall receive a notice of award from the DOST-SEI or the DOST Regional Office stating the date of orientation and contract signing. The qualifiers shall report at the designated venue with a parent/legal guardian who must bring a valid passport or any government-issued ID card. The legal guardian is required to submit a notarized affidavit of guardianship. The new scholarship awardees must seek admission in any of the priority S&T Programs of study in state colleges and universities; CHED-recognized Centers of Excellence/Centers of Development and institutions with FAAP Level III accreditation for the programs they intend to enroll in. Qualifiers with asterisk (*) have lacking document/s and they will be advised accordingly in the notice of award. The following are the qualifiers of the 2019 S&T Undergraduate Scholarship (List is also available at www.sei.dost.gov.ph):

2019 DOST-SEI S&T Undergraduate Scholarships Qualifiers’ Guide

STEP 1

Check if your name is on the list of qualifiers posted on the DOST-SEI website.

STEP 2

Wait for the notice of award from DOST-SEI or the DOST Regional Office stating the date of orientation and signing of the Scholarship Agreement.

“I have not received any notice.”

Coordinate with the DOST-SEI or nearest DOST Regional Office/Provincial S&T Center.

STEP 3

Report with one of your parents or legal guardian on the schedule indicated in your notice of award and kindly bring the following:

  • 2 pcs. 1″ X 1″ colord picture (with white background wearing semi-formal attire)
  • Photocopy of 2019 Community Tax Certificate or any government-issued ID (e.g. valid passport, GSIS ID, postal ID, etc) of Parent/Legal Guardians;
  • Notarized affidavit of guardianshop or special power of attorney (if legal guardian);

REMINDER:

Qualifiers who intent to sign the Scholarship Agreement in the DOST Regional Office but will enroll in schools in NCR or outside their home regions must be issued an endorsement letter to be forwarded to DOST-SEI or the concerned DOST Regional Office. They must report first to the said offices before enrolling in the university.

STEP 4

Ensure Admission to

  • any of the University of the Philippines campuses;
  • state university or college;
  • private higher education institution recognized by CHED as Centers of Excellence/Development;
  • institution with Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines Level III accreditation

in any of the priority S&T Programs
