    Jen Calimon TV 5 Reporter
Transcript: Umuwing masaya after 3 live reports. I love my beat!! #manila #EscoltaFire #hugot

Nadine Umali: Maybe some people think some of the comments here are being insensitive but honestly, it’s just calling it as they see it. The thing is, she did say that it was the ‘Lord’ that had something else in store for her, namely a better story. So this fire was in the divine plan? (I know there were 2 other stories based on the post, but really?) Then you have to think twice why the fire wasn’t prevented in the first place. Maybe it’s just a lucky coincidence that no one got hurt but there was the potential it could’ve escalated.

Nathaniel Nikko: Even if she was emotionally overwhelmed from finally having a story to cover, as a professional reporter, she should have just kept the joy to herself or at the very least, chose a more appropriate set of words.

Edit: By the way, there was one fireman who got injured after debris fell on him, according to the news.

Ren Yna Lavetoria: Parang may mabigat siyang responsibilidad bilang taga media and her opinion counts for a lot. Kaya ingat2 din kasi pwede mamisinterpret. Lalo hindi na siya pribadong mamamayan. Oo nga ano ba yung magandang story doon? Yung nakapagcover siya or yung walang nasaktan? Sana yung maganda eh yung walang nasaktan or nasawi.

Krystal Faith: The self-indulgence, insensitivity and sheer apathy of this.. Tsk tsk so wrong. Smiling for the camera with that kind of situation going on. Well i guess blame the downside of tsocial media generation.

Nesler Louies Canales Almagro: Parang out of context po, hindi siya nagpasalamat kay Lord dahil nagkasunog… as a reporter, nagpapasalamat siya na she was given a chance to cover the fire…

Anthony Co: Honestly I think she just got a little bit too excited receiving a story. I read many anecdotes about journalists who doesn’t make much so in this one particular case I would give her the benefit of the doubt that she just got too excited instead of insulting her.

Ren Yna Lavetoria: Words are powerful. Kaya nga we need to review, revise, revise, and revise some more. She already said sorry and she has learned from her mistake. Kahit kasi wala kang masamang intention, minsan may meaning between the lines eh. It is not all about her naman kasi eh.
