Granting of Service Credits to All Personnel Involved in LIS and EBEIS

Granting of Service Credits to All Personnel Involved in the Learners Information System (LIS) and Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS)

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 32, s. 2018 entitled “Policy Guidelines on the Collection of Data/Information Requirements for Beginning of School Year 2018-2019 in the Learner Information System and Enhanced Basic Education Information System”, all personnel involved in the LIS and EBEIS in all public schools, district, division and regional offices are allowed to render overtime (OT) services with pay during weekdays, weekends, and holidays when necessary to meet the target schedules. At the school level, these OT services can be converted to service credits. Thus, this Division shall grant the privilege provided that the concerned personnel actually perform the said task.

In order to properly sustain the operation and maintenance of all the Division’s existing Information

System Programs and Projects, all nationally funded teachers/personnel who actually perform the task are eligible to avail of this privilege. Accordingly, the Schools Division Office sets the following guidelines:

Category A – those designated as LIS/EBEIS Truss Coordinator in the District for Elementary, and clustered LGU for Junior and Senior High School, the Division shall grant ten (10) days service credits. School heads are directed to reduce the teaching load of the designated Truss Coordinators. Hence, the concerned Truss Coordinators will have a 1-hour teaching load reduction. Furthermore, the Truss Coordinator shall be exempted of the responsibility of being a class adviser unless the school has a shortage of deployed teachers.

B. Category B – those who rendered full-time services as LIS/EBEIS Coordinator including the tasks of class advisers as stated in DepEd No. 14, s. 2016.

C. Category C – those who rendered full-time services as LIS Coordinator excluding the tasks of class advisers as stated in DepEd No. 14, s. 2016.

Service Credits shall be awarded to the LIS/EBEIS Coordinators at the end of the school year after thorough evaluation of the following submitted documents:

A. Copy of the SF7 reflecting the teaching load of the LIS/EBEIS Coordinator

B. Recommendation of the school head certifying the teaching load and the role of the LIS Coordinator

C. Duly accomplished DTR signed by the school head.

The consolidation of requests of the concerned personnel shall be done in the district before submission to the Division office.
