The Department of Education congratulates the Best 6 projects of the National Science and Technology Fair 2019 held on February 18-22, 2019 at Tagaytay International Convention Center. These winners underwent the online mentoring for several weeks before they were announced as official delegates to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF). Intel ISEF is a program of Society for Science & the Public, which is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition where students all around the globe are given the opportunity to showcase their independent research and compete among the best.

The following students will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2019 from May 13 to 18, 2019 at Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

To better prepare the students for the Intel ISEFy they will undergo intensive and rigorous training with experts during the Science Cliniquing on May 6 to 10, 2019 at the National Educators Academy of the Philippines, Marikina.

The official members of the Philippine delegation are the 12 aforecited student-finalists, Ms. Anna Liza Chan, Senior Education Program Specialist of the Bureau of Curriculum Development and Ms. Ester T. Gramaje, Regional Science Supervisor of DepEd Region II as adults-in-charge and Dir. Jocelyn DR Andaya as Country Fair Director.
