The organizing committee of the Academic Union (AU) in Oxford invites representatives from educational institutions and organizations to The Oxford Summit of Leaders entitled Prime Business Destinations: Innovative Aspects of the University City Development on December 20, 2016 in Oxford, United Kingdom.
The Summit aims to serve as a venue for unique opportunity for the organizers and the participants to meet and engage with international educational authorities, businesses, and diplomats.
This event will be host to presentations from participants highlighting the innovative structure of university cities and the future of cooperation between city and university administrations. This will also host the presentation of The Socrates Almanac 2016 (ISSN 2053-4736), the official publication of the AU. A multidisciplinary international journal published twice per year which focuses on promoting innovation in business, science and education.
Further during the Oxford Summit, international competitions will be held for world universities, rectors, prominent scientists and innovative projects. The Science and Education Competition is widely advertised among representatives from the cultural and scientific worlds through media, social networks and on partner’s website.
The Contest participants have the opportunity to communicate their achievements to an audience attending from 130 counries. The winners and leaders of the Competition will be judged by the programme committee, online public voting during the Summit and on the Contest’s official website.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
