Ranking for Promotion to Teacher II (Elementary) Requirements

Every month of January to February, the Department of Education (DepEd) announces the acceptance of applications for Ranking for Promotion to Teacher II (Elementary).

All applicants shall see to it that they meet the minimum requirements below before applying.

TEACHER II (SG-12) QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: BEED or Bachelor’s Degree plus 18 professional units in Education

Experience: 1-year of relevant experience

Training: None required

Eligibility: PBET/LET

DepEd Guidelines for Promotion to Teacher II (Elementary) Documentary Requirements

Documents to be submitted:

a. Application Letter specifying the position being applied for;

b. Certification on the Correctness, Veracity, and Authenticity of documents shall be executed by the applicant;

c. Duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet/CS Form 212 (Revised 2017)

d. Transcript of Records with CAV and other school credentials

e. Updated PRC ID

f. Updated Service Record

g. Performance Rating (SY 2017-2018; 2018-2019)

h. Certificate of Trainings/ Seminars Attended

i. Certificate of Outstanding Accomplishments

  • Outstanding Employee Award
  • Innovations
  • Research & Development Project
  • Publication/Authorship
  • Consultancy/Resource Speaker in Training Seminar Workshop

DepEd Order No. 66, s. 2007 entitled, “Revised Guidelines on the Appointment and Promotion of Other Teaching, Related Teaching, and Non-Teaching positions will be used as a legal basis for the evaluation of documents.

For teaching positions, actual classroom visitation and class observation shall be conducted for validation purposes.

Criteria for Ranking for Promotion to Teacher II Positions (Elementary)

The criteria for the ranking of Teacher II and its corresponding points are as follows:

Applications shall be submitted to the Division Office.
