Lopez, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, Division of Tagum City dated April 4, 2019, entitled “ADDITIONAL SALIENT POINTS TO CONSIDER IN THE SIP/AIP-CYCLE 2 PREPARATION,” which is self-explanatory, for the information, guidance, and compliance of all concerned.
The Division School-Based Management (SBM) Coordinators of Region XI met last March 29, 2019 at RELC-NEAP, Davao City discussing the latest updates of SBM and issuances, clarified issues pertaining to SBM implementations, regional monitoring schedule, salient points to consider in the SIP/AIP-Cycle 2 preparation, and the Regional Strategic Objectives specifically in the SBM Level of Practice.
Region XI targeted that the Eleven (11) SDOs have achieved 70% of schools with SBM Level 3 by 2023. Based on the regional gathered data, Tagum City Division must target 8 schools at SBM Level 3 for School Year 2019-2020.

Additional Salient Points to Consider in the SIP/AIP-Cycle 2 Preparation
Further, below are the additional salient points to consider in the SIP/AIP Cycle 2 Preparation:
Use 15 as the maximum number of pages for SIP/AIP except for big schools.
Use Portrait Arial Style, 12 Font and Legal-Sized Bond Paper while use Landscape for the Planning Worksheets and AIP.
Use School Years: 2019 – 2022.
Message of the School Head is optional. No picture.
Use the usual format of the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) aligning the sources of funds.

Do not include PAPS without clear and specific budget.
Write the name of the teacher in-charge/coordinator of the specific project or program under Persons Involved. (AIP)
Have Outputs of the Year tangible. (AIP). For example: (8 spans perimeter fence; for trainings;
Activity Designs, Attendance of Participants, Minutes of the Meeting, etc.)
Write only the major activity to be done to address the PIA.
The SIP/AIP should be put together as one document. Use only folder for the first submission.
Refrain from using Clear Books. The approved final copy of the SIP/AIP shall be Book Bounded.
The Passing Rate for Every chapter is MEETS EXPECTATION.
No utilization of MOOE without an approved SIP/AIP per DepEd Order No. 13, s. 2016.
Accomplish the Monitoring Plan for Chapter 4 (Name of Project/Project Objectives and Targets/Date of Monitoring)

In order to give the DIVISION APPRAISAL COMMITTEE (DAC) an ample time to appraise the E-SIP using the SIP Quality Assurance Tool, all School Heads are advised to submit their Enhanced-School Improvement Plan Cycle 2 on May 10, 2019 to the Division SBM Coordinator.
