Summary

In SY 2024-25, 44% of the 55,505 learners in Marawi City's schools attend public schools, against 85% nationally, and 45% attend private schools, against 14% nationally. Enrollment in schools rose 2.7% from SY 2023-24, with ALS not counted; private schools grew 6.4% while public schools fell 0.2%.

Marawi City has the most learners of the 40 cities and municipalities in Lanao del Sur, and the 39th most learners per teacher in public schools. All 51 reporting public schools have electricity; five, or 10%, have no water, against 8% in BARMM. 19, or 37%, have no internet, against 74% in BARMM.
