DepEd pays tribute to 44 slain SAF commandos

All Department of Education (DepEd offices) and schools nationwide observe 44 seconds of silence and one second for peace in today’s flag ceremonies to honor the 44 SAF heroes and to remember all those who perished in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.

We pray that the path to peace does not lead to the loss of more lives. May our schools continue to foster understanding and tolerance for the healing of our nation. – Asec. Rey Laguda
