We are pleased to learn of the appointment of Dr. Briones to the post of DepEd Secretary. She brings with her a wealth of experience in public finance and administration which would be beneficial to DepEd, being the agency with the largest budget. We also know that education is one of her top advocacies and she considers it her lifelong mission especially for the last mile learners. I am meeting with her this week to ensure a smooth transition and the continuity of reforms in the department.
DepEd worked hard for the past six years and we hope that the trust which the president-elect gave Dr. Briones would further aid in addressing the continuing challenges in the department especially as we implement the Senior High School Program this year.
Hello Mark! Thanks for this, getting to know our new DepEd Secretary made us happy and so pleased to see her (on photo). I search on google all about her Outstanding Achievements. She has a positive aura when I look at her on her photo. I think she can help to ease the burden of all public school teachers. May God Bless her and our new President.
