Statement of Secretary Br. Armin Luistro FSC on SC denial of TRO on K to 12 Program

“We thank the Supreme Court (SC) for denying the TRO on the suspension of the K to 12 Program as announced in today’s SC press conference.

While we have not received the official documents with decision of the Justices, this announcement allows DepEd and our stakeholders to focus on the urgent remaining tasks for the opening of Grade 11 by June this year.

At the same time, we appeal to the SC petitioners and those who may still have concerns on the program to work with us even more closely so we can address the any remaining challenges.”
