In line with the DepEd Order 24, s. 2008 known as the Institutionalization of the Brigada Eskwela Program or the National Schools Maintenance Week (NSMW), the undersigned, on behalf of Basey I Central Elementary School, is humbly asking your participation in the said program.
The program starts on July 23 and ends on August 23, 2022. If you are willing to be a part of it, you may come to the school on or in between the dates mentioned when you are available to volunteer.
Among the activities that will help beautify the school and make it ready for the next school year during the program are:
- cleaning of the school grounds
- painting of school walls
- cleaning of classrooms and office
- pruning/trimming of trees around the school
- watering of plants
- sorting papers and garbages
- fixing of garbage disposal
- renovating broken school ceilings
- repair of dilapidated chairs
- varnishing students’ chairs and tables
- repair of a makeshift building
It is also humbly proposed that we specifically need cleaning materials, paint, garden tools, ornamental plants, and plastic chicken wire. You may bring any of the tools and materials mentioned.
