In the secondary level, appropriate Special Education (SpEd) programs and services are provided for learners with disabilities.

To provide learners with opportunities to exhibit their learning, DepEd holds competitions at the school, regional, and national levels.

There are specialized DepEd Secondary Schools created to respond to the goals, aspirations, and needs of a community and its members.

DepEd Special Curricular Programs (SCPs) provide learners with a career pathway that is aligned with their interests and aptitudes.

SHS students will be able to demonstrate the skills in application of technology in the context of system designing and customer service.

SHS students with industrial arts specializations will be able to demonstrate the skills providing repair and maintenance services.

SHS students with home economics specializations will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills in taking care of oneself and one’s family.

Senior High School (SHS) students will be able to demonstrate necessary skills on the cultivation of plants and animal production.

The SHS Arts and Design Track covers a wide range of art forms: Theater, Music, Dance, Creative Writing, Visual Arts, and Media Arts.

The Sports Track is for Senior High School (SHS) students who are interested in sports-related careers, i.e. athlete development.

This strand is ideal for Senior High School (SHS) students who have not yet decided on a particular specialization.

The SHS Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) Strand are for learners who want to pursue these fields of study at the university level.
