Advisory on the Walk-in Registration and Administration for the PEPT at DepEd Central Office

Attached herewith is DepEd DM-CI-2020-00092 Memorandum dated June 4, 2020, entitled Advisory on the Walk-in Registration and Administration for the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) at DepEd Central Office. For your information and guidance.

Advisory on the Walk-in Registration and Administration for the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) at DepEd Central Office

In support to the government efforts in implementing social distancing and mitigating the spread of COVID-19, the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) announces that the walk-in registration and administration for the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) is still suspended as we await advice from the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).

The walk-in registration and administration for the said test will resume once the Community Quarantine is lifted and IATF Rules allow it. In the administration of the test, priority will be given to those registrants who were scheduled to take the test before the ECQ. Whereas, tentative schedule will be given to new registrants.

Clients from private schools without DepEd permit to operate should visit the Schools Division Offices (SDOs) for guidance since there is no walk-in transaction at BEA for them per D.O. No. 023, s. 2019 also known as “Additional Provisions to Section 6: Grade Level Placement Assessment of DepEd Order No, 55, s. 2016”.

Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
