For the information and guidance of all concerned, the clarification below on the computation of honors for Senior High School as per DepEd Order No. 36, s. 2016 entitled “Policy Guidelines on Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program” and DepEd order No. 8, s. 2015 entitled “Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for the K to 12 Basic Education Program”, the General Average (GA) of Senior High School shall be computed as:
GENERAL AVERAGE = SUM OF GRADES OF ALL SUBJECTS TAKEN IN THE FIRST SEMESTER PLUS THE SUM OF GRADES OF ALL SUBJECTS TAKEN IN THE 2ND SEMESTER / NUMBER OF SUBJECTS TAKEN DURING THE FIRST AND SECOND SEMESTERS
Hello po Grade 12 adviser po ako then gusto kong malaman paano e cocompute ang general average of Grade 12 kasi sa SF 10 na automated sa computation kasama ang Grade 11 average in 1st and 2nd semester. So pagnagdetermine ng honors ba ng Grade 12 included ang Grade 11

Example:
First Sem- 87 final average
2nd Sem- 91 final average
Total 178/2=89 final grade said s.y.2022-2023
Magtatanong lang po ako. Kapag po ba ang isang student ay 90 percent po ang final average, let say po na 93.24 po ang final average tapos po may 83 sa isang subject, di na po ba sya kasama sa with honors po. Yung school po kasi ay private tapos po sabi po nila na kapag may grade ka na 85 below sa anumang subject eh hnd ka na po makakapasok sa sa with honors. Nakakalungkot lang po kasi
