RANKING FOR TEACHING POSITIONS IN ELEMENTARY, JUNIOR, AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL FOR SY 2016-2017

1. Cognizant to DepEd Order Numbers 3, s. 2016; 7, s. 2015; 66, s. 2007 and 22, s. 2013, the field is hereby informed of the Ranking for Teaching Positions in Elementary, Junior, and Senior High School for SY 2016-2017.

2. Applicants shall register to the Department’s online system at application.deped.gov.ph where they must encode their Personal Data Sheet (PDS) and select Cagayan de Oro City Division. Once submitted, a Unique Applicant Number (UAN) will be issued. In the submission of application requirements, the UAN shall be indicated.

3. The following DepEd Orders shall be used as criteria for evaluation of different applicants as follows:

On Senior High School Applicants:

a. DepEd Order Number 3, s. 2016 shall be used for evaluation for applicants applying for Senior High School (SHS) Teaching Positions.
b. DepEd Order Number 66, s. 2007 shall be used for applicants who are already teaching with the DepEd either in Elementary or Junior High School (JHS) who intends to transfer to Senior High School shall apply. However, the evaluation of points shall be based on Part VII-Evaluation Criteria and Computation of Points of DepEd Order Number 3, s. 2016.

On Elementary, and Junior High School:

a. DepEd Order Number 7, s. 2015 shall be used for evaluation for applicants applying for Elementary, and Junior High School Teaching Positions.

On transfer within Schools in the Division or from other Division:

a. DepEd Order Number 22, s. 2013 shall be used for teachers requesting transfer within the Division and those requesting transfer from other Division.

4. Documents submitted during the call for Expressions of Intent shall already be considered for evaluation. However, they may submit additional documents for updating.

5. Below is the list of the Division Ranking Committee.

6. School Head should form the School Screening Committee based on DepEd Order No. 7, s. 2015 and DepEd Order No. 3, s, 2016 who shall be tasked to verify, evaluate and validate teacher’s applicant documents, which shall be submitted to the Schools Division Superintendent for the issuance of an Order/Authority/Approval not later than February 3, 2016. Attention: DR. EDUARDO T. CARTEL for Junior and Senior High Schools and MS. LOREBINA C. CARRASCO for Elementary.

7. The School Screening Committee shall submit to the Division Selection Committee the verified, evaluated, validated, and consolidated documents of applicants arrange by major and/or by field of specialization. For Senior High School arrangement, it shall be by the following groupings:

A. Group 1 – HUMSS

a. Oral Communication, Reading and Writing, English for Academic and Professional Purposes, Practical Research;
b. Komunikasyon at PannanliksiksaWika at Kulturang Pilipino, Pagbasa at Pagsusuringlba’tibangTekstosaPannanliksik, Pagsulatsa Filipino sa Piling Larangan;
c. 21st Century Literature from the Philippines and the World, Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Region, Understanding Culture, Society and Politics, Introduction to the Philosophy of the Human Person and related specialized HUMSS subjects.

B. Group 2 – ABM and Entrepreneurship and Work Immersion

C. Group 3 – STEM

a. General Mathematics, Statistics and Probability and related specialized STEM subjects;
b. Earth Science, Earth and Life Science, Physical Science and related specialized STEM subjects;

D. Group 4 – TVL

a. Specialized TVL/Agri-Fisheries
b. Specialized TVL/Industrial Arts
c. Specialized TVL/ICT
d. Specialized TVL/Home Economics

E. Group 5 – Sports

a. Physical Education and Health, Personal Development and related specialized Sports Subjects.

F. Group 6 – Arts and Design

8. All concerned charged to facilitate/conduct the ranking process for SY 2016-2017 teacher applicants and teacher transferees are governed by the following timelines:

February 3-8, 2016 – Formation of the School Screening Committee, acceptance of Teachers applicant documents and submission of the composition to the SDS for the issuance of an Order/ Authority/ Approval.
February 9 – 12, 2016 – Document verification, evaluation and validation, including Teachers seeking for transfer.
February 16, 2016 – Submission of all the authenticated, verified and validated documents to the Division Office by the School Selection Committee including Teachers seeking to transfer. Attention: DR. EDUARDO T. CARTEL for Secondary and MS. LOREBINA C. CARRASCO for Elementary.
February 17 – 23,  2016 – Document appraisal and assigning appropriate points based on the criteria, Division Selection Committee.
February 24 – March 11, 2016 – Teaching Demonstration and interview, Division Selection Committee @ the Division Office or Fr. Masterson Elementary School, Upper Balulang, CDOC.
March 12, 2016 – English Proficiency Test for teacher applicants, Fr. Masterson Elementary School, Upper Balulang, CDOC @ 8:00 AM (Saturday).
March 13 -18, 2016 – Finalization of the Ranklist.
March 23, 2016 – Submission of the final ranklist of both new teacher applicants and teacher transferees to the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent

10. Should there be a new DepEd Order that will be issued by the DepEd Central Office after the issuance of this Division Memorandum, the latest guidelines on Recruitment and Hiring shall prevail.
