Recruitment Procedure and Schedule of Activities for SY – 2016-2017

Attached is DepED Order #9 s. 2016 entitled: Reinforcement of DepEd Orders 7 and 22 s. 2015 as the Hiring Guidelines for Kindergarten to Grade 10 Teaching Positions.

In view of this, Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDS) and Cluster Heads are directed to submit the identified composition of the School Screening Committee attention: Teresita F. Del Valle, Schools Governance & Operations Division or email at davaocitydivision.sgod@gmail.com on or before March 2, 2016.

Enclosed is the Division Recruitment Procedure and Schedule of Activities for reference.

Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Memorandum is directed.

DIVISION RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE AND SCHEDULE For SY 2016-2017

1. Recruitment of Applicants – February 29, 2016 to March 11,2016

Procedure (Section 5 of DO. No. 7, 2015):

A) An applicant shall submit to the head of elementary or secondary school where a teacher shortage or vacancy (regular and/or natural) exists a written application supported by the following documents:

  • CSC Form 212 (Revised 2005) in two copies with the latest 2 X2 ID picture
  • Certified photocopy of PRC professional identification card
  • Certified photocopy of ratings obtained in the Licensure Examination for Teacher/Professional Board Exam for Teachers
  • Certified copy of transcript of records with identified General Weighted Average (GWA)
  • Copies of service record, performance rating, and school clearance for those with teaching experience
  • Certificates of specialized training, if any
  • Certified copy of the Voter’s ID and/or any proof of residency like sworn affidavit or certification of two disinterested parties on the actual residence of the applicant
  • NBI Clearance
  • Omnibus certification of authenticity and veracity of all documents submitted, signed by the applicant

If any one of the required documents is not submitted, the School Screening Committee shall refuse acceptance of the application.

Substitute for the above-named identification documents, such as a barangay clearance, shall not be accepted.

2. Submission of List of Applicants by the district/cluster with the corresponding documents to the Division Selection Committees for elementary or secondary schools – March 14-18, 2016

3. Evaluation of applicants based on Education, Teaching Experience, LET/PBET Rating, Experiential Learning Courses, and Specialized Training and Skills – March 28-29,2016 (Elementary) / March 30-31,2016 (Secondary)

4. Conduct of Interview and Demonstration Teaching – March 28-29,2016 (Elementary) / March 30-31, 2016 (Secondary)

5. Administration of English Proficiency Test – April 3. 2016 c/o BEA

    I’d like to ask if there’ll be an opening for applicant this second semester of the school year? I failed to apply last march due to unavoidable reason that’s why i’m wondering if there will be an open application this second aem.?
