Applicants must be interested in teaching the core curriculum and/or applied and specialized subjects under the four Senior High School (SHS) tracks.
Interested applicants should be a Filipino citizen. Mandatory requirements for all applicants include:
- letter of intent which shall indicate the statement of purpose or expression of interest, track(s)/stand(s)/subject(s) applying for, and preferred school(s), if any;
- CSC Form 212, revised 2005 (Personal Data Sheet) in two copies with the latest 2×2 ID picture;
- certified photocopy of certificates of relevant trainings, if any;
- certified copy of voter’s ID and/or any proof of residency;
- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance; and
- omnibus certification of authenticity and veracity of all documents submitted and signed by the applicant.
Expression of intent should be submitted to their local DepEd Schools Division Office (SDO) with all the mandatory requirements for all applicants and/or additional requirements for permanent full-time positions, for TVL, Arts and Design and Sports Tracks teacher-applicants, and additional requirements for HEI/TVI faculty.
Expected salaries will range from P19,940 to P39,493.
Candidates will be ranked according to the DepEd’s criteria for evaluation and selection process. DepEd will also follow general guidelines for the hiring and placement of successful applicants.

Good day sir, first you need at least 18 units of education units (if non education graduate) then you need take and pass the licensure examination for teachers, after that you can now apply in the DepEd district/division office nearby your hometown or even your preferred school by submitting your pertinent documents prescribed by their guidelines for teaching applicants

For Academic Track Core Subject, is it true that only teaching experience is qualified for the points . The industrial or professional experience will not be given any points. I’m applying for senior high teacher, and they said during ranking that if your applying for academic track core subject the only credit experience is teaching experience. Im chemistry graduate and most of my experiences is in laboratory but I’m already passed LET.

Good day! I am a BSED major in English graduate last 2015, I decided to work first in a different field since I still don’t have a license yet. Last 2016 I took LET and passed the exam but I decided to continue my job outside education. But then I heard the news about CPD implementation and I decided to teach hopefully this year. Is it okay even if I don’t have an experience with teaching to apply for a Junior/ Senior High School position in public school? Or do I have to study MA first and gain more experience in private school? I took the RQA exam last April 2017 and I was in the rank in the exam result po specifically in Caloocan City. I waited for several months till now but nobody called me po in TechVoch. Inline with the qualifications stated above i observed that there are hired tvl teachers with tm1 but not in the area they are teaching. eg. A hired tvl teacher has tm1 in carpentry but the available item is welding and fabrication were he was hired and has no tm1 in welding. Another one is a major in automotive were he obtained tm1 but again the available item is eim were he don’t have tm1 in eim but teaching in the said area. Now will that be okay in the rqa i think definitely they did not meet the requirement. Our students offcourse do not meet the excellency after shs. Thank you and more power.

Pasok po ako sa ranking for Senior High School (Tech-Voc) this school year 2017-2018. I am a Physical Therapy Graduate( five year-course),with an 18 units Advanced Education on the said degree. I completed my Diploma in Education and a LET passer..I also have an NC2 for Health and Wellness (HILOT MASSAGE).But the problem is their is no teacher 1 item for me. Only to find out that I am not qualified for teacher 2 because I don’t have Trainers Methodology…How come they didn’t see this prior for qualifying exams…they reviewed my document and I am qualified…I supposed on STEM tracks but during interview they refer me to Tech-Voc because I have an NC2. I have a bs degree in nursing and took up teaching units as a requirement from prc to be able to teach private hs or shs. Colleges and universities have prepared subjects for education uniting. So better inquire or try google professional teaching certicate subjects. And dont forget to include practice teaching. Hope this helps.

NC courses are hard to find nowadays. Ever since nagkaroon ng Senior High eh na-dissolve ang mga NC courses sa colleges and universities. So pano na tayo makaka-acquire ng NC courses?

Personal data sheet available in school supplies stores. And yung mga kukuha po ng teaching units 18 units po needed or 21 units including practice teaching. Iam currently on my p.t. or better inquire sa suc schools about their required subjects for bsed uniting for advice. i have plans on applying for shs and the shs school principal said elligible or not elligible can apply given that you will pass the board exam within 5 years of employment. So you can also try to inquire about shs teacher application requirements on National high schools in your area. I hope this helps.
