On Sunday, November 8, 2015, we the people of Tacloban and Samar will commemorate the second anniversary of super-typhoon Yolanda. We are lighting 50,000 candles at 6PM to remember the loved ones we lost, the generosity of our neighbors, and the strength of our community to rise again. ‪#‎LightACandleForYolanda‬


Let us all together say this short “survivor’s prayer”—a prayer of gratitude, but also one of surrender and acceptance—for our brothers and sisters. ‪#‎LightACandleForYolanda‬ as we remember, relive, and restore our lives and loves.
