Attached herewith is DepEd Memorandum No. 31, s. 2021 (Enclosure No. 1) dated June 01, 2021, on the 123rd Founding Anniversary of the Department of Education (DepEd).

DepEd 123rd Founding Anniversary Nomination of DepEd Officials, Personnel and Learners

The nomination aims to recognize DepEd officials, teaching and non-teaching personnel, learners, individuals, and/or groups of individuals, who have shown significant initiatives and extraordinary contributions within their community that depict the spirit of bayanihan. These might inlucde an act or approach done intended to resolve or improve a situation within their community during these challenging times.

The Equal Opportunity Principle (EOP) shall be exercised to underscore the Department’s policy of no discrimination against any employee or learner for rewards and recognition regardless of age, gender, civil status, disability, religion, ethnic group, and political beliefs.

Please note that you will be asked to provide basic information about the nominee/s, photos, and a short write-up about his/her or their contribution/s and its result/s that helped improve the situation in the community during this time of the pandemic.

Nominations will be open until June 25, 2021, 5:00 PM. The selection of the nominated officials, teaching and non-teaching personnel, learners, individuals, and/or groups of individuals will be based on the relevance to the bayanihan concept. Selected nominees will be featured in the DepEd Philippines official FB during the celebration week of DepEd’s 123rd Founding Anniversary.
