Update No. 1 on the Procurement of Senior High School (SHS) Teaching and Learning Materials for the First Semester of School Year (SY) 2016-2017
1. The Department of Education (DepEd) Central Office is currently procuring Senior High School (SHS) Teaching and Learning Materials for the First Semester of School Year (SY) 2016-2017. These teaching and learning materials cover the following 11 core subjects, two applied track subjects, five specialized track subjects of the Academic and Sports tracks, and three Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) specializations. The list of SHS subjects and specializations, and their corresponding number of titles are shown below:

2. The allocation of teaching and learning materials per school is based on the approved SHS programs as of December 2015. Further changes to the approved SHS programs are discouraged as they may adversely affect the correct distribution and timely delivery of these materials.
3. Regional and schools division offices shall ensure that school-level programming, class scheduling, and teacher hiring prioritizations are formulated in consideration of the aforementioned SHS teaching and learning materials.
4. The DepEd CO will be monitoring urgent dissemination and compliance to this Memorandum.
5. Subsequent updates regarding SHS teaching and learning materials may be issued in succeeding weeks.
6. Please be guided accordingly.

we are from the extension school of which this school year 2017-2018 we open grade 11 for HUMSS only per majority request of the parents. Can we ask a copy of TG and LM on the subjects under HUMSS?( Earth Science, Understanding Culture,society and politics, Oral Communication, General Mathematics, Komunikasyon at pananaliksik sa wika at kulturang Pilipino and Physical Education and Health)..thank you po.God Bless
