2021 Online Registration in the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) for Walk-In Examinees

Beginning 3 February 2021, the BEA-Education Assessment Division shall adopt an online registration scheme in the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) for Walk-In Examinees at the DepEd Central Office.

Who are qualified to avail the PEPT at the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA), DepEd Central Office?

a. Learners from nonformal and informal education programs

b. Learners who have incomplete or no record of formal schooling

c. Learners with back subjects

d. Learners who need grade level standards assessment

e. Learners who are overage for their grade levels

Notes:

i. Per DepEd Order 23, s. 2019, learners from schools without a government permit (and in need of a Learner Reference Number) will not be accommodated at DepEd Central Office.

ii. Due to the existing IATF rules, only applicants aged 15 to 64 years old are allowed to register and take the PEPT at the DepEd Central Office. Those with comorbidities/ immunodeficiencies or pregnant are also not allowed to register and take the test. However, these restrictions shall be automatically adjusted based on the new resolutions issued by the IATF.

What are the registration requirements?

a. Active Gmail Account

b. PEPT Registration Form

c. Scanned copy of the following:

i. School Record (SF9/F138 for elementary or SF10/Form 137 for high school)

ii. Birth Certificate issued by PSA/NSO

iii. Proof of Payment (receipt from a door-to-door money remittance)

iv. Certificate of Ratings (for PEPT re-takers only)

v. 1×1 picture

vi. Copy of School Permit/DepEd Recognition (for applicants from private schools)

What is the registration process?

a. Download the PEPT Registration Form from http://bit.ly/PEPTForm and fill out the said document.

b. Pay the nonrefundable registration fee of Two Hundred Pesos (Php200.00) through a door-to-door money remittance system and address it to:

c. Using an active Gmail account, submit the following requirements to bit.ly/PEPTOnlineReg

i. Accomplished PEPT Registration Form

ii. Scanned copy of the documentary requirements in Item 2.c

iii. Scanned copy of proof of payment (door-to-door money remittance transaction receipt)

Note: For clarifications regarding door-to-door money remittance, please email verification. bea@deped.gov.ph

Once the payment is received and confirmed by BEA, an email shall be sent regarding the details of the test schedule.

What should the examinee bring on examination day?

The examinee shall present the original documents stated in Item 2.c. Likewise, BEA shall provide the examinee his/her original official receipt for the registration fee.

How can the examinee receive the test results?

For pick up: Examinees who opt to personally pick-up their CORs shall claim the documents at the BEA office. The availability of test results shall be within seven (7) working days and it shall be announced on the BEA-Education Assessment Division Facebook page.

For shipping (optional): Examinees who opt to receive their PEPT CORs at their mailing address shall pay the courier services fee on the day of the examination. BEA shall provide a provisional receipt for the said fee.

For follow up of test results, examinees may inquire from verification.bea@deped.gov.ph at least seven (7) working days after the test.

Just want to ask po kasi yong anak ko is coming 6yrs old and dapat Grade 1 na, na enroll po sya ng Kinder1 in other school pero this year nilipat ko po sya and nakapasa po sya for Grade 1 but the problem is sa school nya before wala po syang LRN paano po ba ako kukuha ng PEPT exam para po Grade 1 na sya this school year.

  3. Meron po bang diploma ang PEPT passer? Yung PUP po kasi hinihingi saken yung ALS passer master list at diploma akala yata nila same lang yung ALS at PEPT so baka nga may iniissue na diploma pag PEPT passer.

  9. Hello po ask ko lang po kasi nasa grade 9 ako but im supposed to be on grade 11 na kasi naka hinto ako ng 2 years sa school namin mayroon paba akong chance na maka punta ng grade 11.

    Hello po, I have question lang po. My 2nd child is turning 6 this coming Dec. Pwd po ba sya accept as Grade 1 pero hndi pa ng kinder? But marunong na siya mag write and read, my PEPT test po ba para ma accept siya as Grade 1?
